Cathryn is a life writer. She adores stories of normal people doing hard things. She prompts the memories, then pens the extraordinary from the lives of her clients.
Her own story includes being the first female on her
mother’s side to graduate high school.
While homeschooling her six children, she earned a Bachelor’s of English from BYU-Idaho.

At age 55, she left her beloved Idaho mountains and crossed the pond to earn an MA in Biography and Creative Non-Fiction from the University of East Anglia, UK. When she is not writing she hikes in the Tetons, pickleballs,
or adventures with her husband and grandchildren.

"Cathryn Farr weaves a fascinating narrative between the lives of a group of older lady hikers (some in their 70s) and the rugged Teton Range of western Wyoming. This tough assembly of women, some born of early settlers to the region and others more newly arrived, come together forming a hardy mix of hikers passionate about the diversity of life with their common love for the mountains, challenge and companionship.
"In this read you’ll find raw and unfiltered takes on living and dying with mixed and nuanced descriptions of challenging trails, flora and fauna and expansive views offered within the Teton Range.
"Truly, it is never too late to do hard things!"
